Free workshops showing simple steps to reduce, re-use and recycle. The composting and worm farming workshop will be held on site at East Freo Farm.

Farmers Market Stall - April 14th 2013
We are holding a fundraising stall at the Western Farmers Market (Palmyra Primary School) on Sunday 14th April. We need volunteers! Please contact Beck if you are able to help set up or do a shift on the day or would like to donate something for us to sell at the stall. It should be a fun day as we are part of the Pally Patch Great Garden Fun Day (see below).

Hulbert St Sustainability Fiesta - Sep 22 & 23 2012
A Gardeners Corner will be set up this year at the top of Hulbert St (near the woodworker). East Freo Farm, along with other 'Grow In Freo' community garden groups will have photos and information etc available. Volunteers needed to help set up and chat to the public about our community garden and how it works.

We will be having an information stall at the Recycling Expo to be held at the Esplanade Hotel. Volunteers wanted to help set up and chat to people at the stall. Or just come along and visit the Expo - more info at www.wasteandrecycle.com.au

Fremantle Festival Street Parade - December 4th 2011
We are joining with local community garden groups such as Hilton Harvest, FERN, Freo Farm and others to be in this year's Fremantle Street Parade on Sunday December 4th. The theme will be "Grow in Freo" and should be lots of fun. Please contact Beck if you would like to be involved - either on the day or in helping prepare some props and costumes.
2011 Hulbert St Sustainability Fiesta Stall - Sunday September 25th
East Freo Farm Inc will be having our own information stall at this year's Hulbert St Sustainability Fiesta in South Fremantle. We will be at the Fiesta on Sunday 25th September.

2011 AGM - Sunday October 23rd
Our AGM will be held on site at 4pm on Sunday October 23rd.
Join us for some brief formalities before a celebration sausage sizzle and catch up.

Tree Planting Day July 31
From 10am on Sunday 31st July we will be having a fruit tree planting day on site and need more volunteers.
Members also have the chance to 'sponsor' one of the trees for $50.
A name plaque will be placed upon the tree to thank the donating member/family.

School Holiday Fun
We will be holding a ceramic plaque workshop for the kids in the school holidays for name tags for the plants around the garden. Details to follow but places are limited so register your interest now - [email protected]
Busy Bee July 2/3
Our first Busy Bee will be held on site on the weekend of July 2nd & 3rd. All members welcome!
The Busy Bee will run from 10am-3pm both days, so that people will get a chance to come and participate at a time that suits them best.
We will have raised beds with seedlings for planting and plenty of other jobs to get involved in. Hope to see you there. If you have any extra fruit and veggie seedlings or plants that you would like to donate to the garden, please bring them along on the day. Any queries contact Beck - 0407 018 151
